CECO Safety Record Gains Recognition

HOUSTON, TEXAS: June 30, 2009 – Compressor Engineering Corporation (CECO) and its subsidiary CECO Pipeline Services Company has received an EMR (Experience Modifier Rating) of .58 from the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), the company announced today.  The new EMR, which will become effective September 14, 2009, represents a 27.5% improvement over the previous EMR of .80.

The rating reflects CECO’s focus on safety as its primary value.  “We expect and require our managers, supervisors and field employees to operate with the attitude of ‘Safety First,” said Mark Hotze, CEO of CECO PSC.  “Our first core value is ‘Never Compromise Safety’ and we’re proud that CECO is gaining recognition for it.”

Suppliers Association. “We are committed to safety,” said Hotze.

The National Council on Compensation Insurance is a U.S. insurance rating and data collection bureau specializing in workers' compensation. NCCI provides data and analysis to insurance companies, state workers' compensation insurance funds, regulatory authorities, employers needing information on workers' compensation issues, and non-governmental workers' compensation agencies.

CECO Pipeline Services provides new construction and maintenance services to pipeline operators and field mechanical services for compressors.
