CECO Names Dale Thompson Vice President, Operations.

Houston, Texas. May 22, 2008 - Richard Hotze, President, Compressor Engineering Corporation (CECO) headquartered in Houston, Texas, proudly announced today that its Board of Directors has promoted Dale Thompson to Vice President, Operations.

Reporting directly to Mr. Hotze, Mrs. Thompson will direct CECO’s Purchasing and
Warehouse departments as well as be responsible for manufacturing of all product at the company’s main facility in Houston.

In making the announcement, Mr. Hotze said, “Dale is well suited for this position. She knows the product, vendors and processes. Her raw determination is highly regarded, and just the quality we need during the exciting growth cycle we are experiencing. ”

Thompson’s previous positions included Consultant with M. David Lowe and Customer Service/Sales Representative at L. L. Ridgway’s before joining CECO. During her tenure at CECO, she has headed up the Inventory and Warehouse Departments as well as overseeing installation of the newest computer system applications to insure our customers receive superior customer service available through computerization.

Thompson and husband, Gene, are the parents of 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Customers include gas pipelines, gathering and processing companies, petrochemical, industrial and refrigeration plants worldwide. In addition, CECO Pipeline Services provides new construction and a variety of maintenance services to pipeline operators.
