HOUSTON, TEXAS. Compressor Engineering Corporation was recently honored by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as one of the government's best suppliers at a Best Value System award ceremony held in Columbus, Ohio August 30, 2005.
President Richard Hotze accepted the award for Compressor Engineering Corporation from the Defense Supply Center (DSCC) Commander Navy Rear Adm. Charlie Lilli.
For over 30 years Compressor Engineering Corporation (CECO) has provided the military with the majority of its compressor replacement parts.
“We are honored the DLA has recognized CECO for its commitment to quality and performance,” says Hotze.
As an award winner, CECO has met the stringent quality and delivery requirements established by the Defense Logistics Agency. The computerized system collects performance data and translates it into a numeric score, ranging from zero to 100. To be eligible, vendors must have shipped 50 or more contract line items for DSCC during a twelve-month period and held scores in excess of 98.
