CECO Introduces the World's First Long-Lasting Stainless Steel Deactivator for High-Speed Compressors

HOUSTON, AUG. 15 -- CECO (Compressor Engineering Corporation) announced today that its engineers have solved the problem inherent in “finger-style” deactivators.

CECO’s DUR-FLEX® is the world’s first long-lasting, low maintenance deactivator that can be used in valves requiring finger-style unloaders and operating up to 1,000 rpm.

“This is an exciting development for anyone working with high speed compressors,” said Bruce Hotze, Chief Executive Officer of CECO. “Our new finger-style unloader compensates for varying pressure on the valve elements and is more robust and reliable than similar products on the market today.”

The DUR-FLEX® design allows for the deactivation of valves without damaging them, and does it in a timely, efficient manner. This is accomplished with a unique patent pending self-dampening finger style construction that eliminates the breakage of fingers or valve sealing elements. The CECO DUR-FLEX deactivator unloads existing valves with excellent results.
