CECO Showcases New Products and Services in Liberal, Kansas

HOUSTON, TEXAS. March 27, 2003 – CECO, (Compressor Engineering Corporation) announces their line-up for the Liberal Gas Compressor Institute held in Liberal, Kansas on April 8 & 9, 2003. In the past 6 months, CECO has released five new-engineered products, two repair facility expansions, and expanded services for facility optimization.

The new products, (all five for the gas/transmission industry) will be available for viewing at the show. New products include:

• Scavenging Poppet Valve
• Fuel Modulator for Worthington Engine
• Top Loading Fuel Valve
• Machined Clearance Pockets
• Dur-Flex Deactivator

CECO Precision Repair-Odessa moved to its new location in October 2002. CECO Precision Repair – Baton Rouge opened February 2003. CECO headquarters is in Houston and is home of the first Precision Repair center. New literature and photos of the new facilities will be available for viewing at the show.

“The new locations in Odessa and Baton Rouge are phenomenal. CECO now has over 100,000 sq ft of manufacturing and repair space. Our new facility adds to our list of services including thermal spray and thread rolling,” says Richard Hotze, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

 The ACTT (Anderson Consulting Testing and Training) division of CECO launched its Thermal Imaging Services in late 2002.

“With the downturn of the economy, maximizing efficiency has become a high priority,” says Charles Ely, Vice President of ACTT. “Thermal imaging has proved to be a cost effective way to quickly identify problems.”

The Thermal Imaging camera will be on display at the Liberal Gas Compressor Institute for live demonstrations and presentations of its capabilities.
