Portable Emissions Testing
Emissions and Mechanical Analysis Services
CECO personnel are considered some of the best and brightest engine and compressor experts in the natural gas industry. They are frequently called upon to solve customer's toughest problems and provide real world, useful solutions. CECO personnel strive to learn and understand new and improving engine and compressor technologies and are equipped with the latest tools and equipment.
CECO experts know how to troubleshoot, correct, and implement emission compliant solutions to ensure efficient and reliable engine and compressor operation. To meet this industry need, CECO offers the following services:
Engine and Compressor Mechanical Analysis
Routine Equipment Analysis. We own and operate both the Recip-Trap and Windrock equipment analyzers. CECO can be hired to provide either one-time or routine equipment analysis services to analyze and diagnose your engine and compressor equipment. This service is generally priced on a per unit basis.
Diagnostic Troubleshooting and Failure Investigation. Our experts work closely with our customer's field and engineering staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to correct the problem. This service is generally priced on a time plus expenses basis.
Emission Testing Services
Portable Emissions Analysis.
CECO operates several ECOM portable emissions analyzers with heated sample lines and full sample conditioning. The portable analyzing equipment is designed to meet most state portable emission testing protocols. The test equipment accurately measures NO, NO2, CO, and O2 concentrations. Mass flow computations are done using Method 19 (F-factor) computations. NOTE: CECO is fitted to operate simultaneous dual sample trains (typically required for catalyst testing).
Formal Protocol (Training) Emissions Testing.
CECO is developing a formal protocol emissions testing trailer (expected Spring 2007). This equipment will be capable of emissions data collection and measurement in a manner required to assure proper QA/QC and accurate emissions readings. This service includes the following:
1 - NOx, CO, O2, CO2, CH4, C2H6, VOCs, and Total Hydrocarbon measurements - EPA Methods 3A, 7E, 10, 18, 19, 25, 25A, and Method 320.
2 - Formaldehyde (CH2O) measurement - EPA Methods 19 and 320
3 - Simultaneous dual sample trains
4 - Written report documenting emissions data and appropriate engine performance data
This service is generally priced on a daily rate that includes all test equipment, calibration gases, labor, and travel expenses.
Enhanced Emissions Testing Services
CECO emissions testing service (portable or trailer testing) can be enhanced by adding diagnostic and other related services. Additional services available include:
1 - Unit horsepower / load measurement
2 - Engine balance services
3 - Diagnostic / troubleshooting services (mechanical analysis)
4 - Air-Fuel ratio tuning and mapping
5 - Commissioning and startup services
